Blended BLS Recertification Course

This course uses video, lecture, and skills to refresh the student on all aspects of BLS. 


How does this course work?

  1. Choose your date for the skills and written exam from the Course Calendar.
  2. Complete the Registration Application and pay the tuition.
  3. Once the tuition is paid, a link will be provided to view the prerequisite video prior to the skills and exam portion.  You are encouraged to take notes while viewing the video and to bring your notes with you to the skills and exam portion.
  4. Come to the classroom for the skills and exam portion on the date registered for.
  5. Successfully complete the course with a minimum score of 84% on a 25 question exam and a minimum 84% on a skills exam.


Who should take this course?

This BLS Recertification Course is designed for healthcare professionals and other personnel who need to recertify their BLS credentials, and who need to know how to perform CPR and other basic cardiovascular life support skills in a prehospital setting.


What does this course teach?

  • High-quality CPR for adults, children, and infants
  • The AHA Chain of Survival, specifically the BLS components
  • Important early use of an AED
  • Effective ventilations using a barrier device
  • Importance of teams in multi-rescuer resuscitation and performance as an effective team member during multi-rescuer CPR
  • Relief of foreign-body airway obstruction (choking) for adults and infants


Tuition for this course is $60.
